INCUBUS A CROW LEFT OF THE MURDER STICKER
CROW LEFT ALBUM COVER - STICKER
Critics have a tendency of comparing bands to those that preceded them, and when it came to Incubus, there was really only one other band to contend with.
Nirvana they may not have been, but it did little to deter their eager flock from anointing the Alternative Rock ensemble as the next best thing since Kurt Cobain and flannel.
Products of the 90’s Grunge scene, Brandon Boyd, Jose Pasillas, and Mike Einziger formed the first incarnation of their band in Calabasas, California during the 10th grade, and with a little help from math teacher Joanne Stanulonis, began recording demos for several of her music industry contacts.
Incubus eventually signed with Sony subsidiary Epic, where they produced their landmark third album Make Yourself in 1999.
With the swell of fan support brought on by hit singles “Stellar”, “Drive”, and the explosive “Pardon Me”, Boyd and company quickly caught the attention of the mainstream and sold over 3 million copies of the album.
Since then, Incubus has released three commercially successful albums in Morning View, A Crow Left of the Murder…, and Light Grenades, whose many chart-topping songs receive regular airplay from radio stations across the country.
